CBHC CALESA, a seminar on Global History and the Construction of Global Citizenship
happening on May 18 to 20, 2022, and on May 23 to 26, 2022
at the Hotel Sta Monica, University of San Agustin, Iloilo City.
Organized through the joint efforts of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University, Universidad de Malaga, and the University of San Agustin, and co-funded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union, these international seminars featuring historians from Spain, the USA, and the Philippines aim to focus on providing tools and abilities to debate, discuss, and develop global citizenship in line with the globalization of the planet using a world history perspective.
Fr Antonio de Castro, SJ of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University and Ma Christina Canoñes, MA, AdZU School of Liberal Arts professor, join experts from the University of Malaga in Spain as well as a representative from the Asian Institute of Management,to layout their discussions and inputs as keynote speakers for this event.
