Dialogue on Peace and Development

The Ateneo de Zamboanga University, through its multi-disciplinary journal called “Asia Mindanaw: Dialogue on Peace and Development” welcomes articles linking Mindanao and the Sulu archipelago with the rest of Asia and beyond.

Asia Mindanaw seeks to be a hub of fresh scholarship that sees Mindanao and Sulu not simply as a focus of internal study but as a locus of intersecting ideas and interests, of crisscrossing spaces and movements, both ancient and recent. This peer-reviewed journal invites serious graduate students and their mentors, peace advocates and development practitioners, environmental activists as well as security analysts, to share comparative analyses, in-depth observations, and even conference syntheses.

Asia Mindanaw has a section, too, for experience-based personal reflections, especially of those who have been into intercultural and cross-regional journeys. Readers stand to be enriched by book reviews of the more recent publications on peace and development.
